BEAM Graphical Entity Tree

The prepared bird's-eye plan of the enterprise or the 3D modeling of the enterprise is defined to the system and on this visual; It is a tab within the asset module of BEAM that aims to provide a more understandable and useful control for marking definitions such as Business / Cashier / Section / Asset on the image and tracking it through the visual.

Adding Images to the System

Visuals should be added in order and in a structure that covers the previous next one in 4 steps:

  1. Companies – Available in the system menu and covers all businesses owned by a company.
  2. Businesses – Included in entity definitions and covers all the constituencies of a business.
  3. Containers – Included in entity definitions and covers all parts of a consignee. Part 4 – Included in entity definitions and includes all entities belonging to a part.

Since the method of adding images is the same for these 4 steps, this document will explain for a single step. The visuals of these definitions that contain each other should also be consistent to include each other.

  1. After the layout of the company or the 3D modeling of this layout is prepared, the "Companies" tab in the system menu should open. (Images are examples)

  1. By entering the company to be created a graphical asset tree with the "Change" button, on the general information page that comes to the screen, next to the "Map Picture Path" field at the bottom of the screen, click on the "..." button to enter the file attachment screen.

  1. The folder where the code of the relevant company is written should be clicked from the folders belonging to the companies in the left part and the plan image of the relevant company should be selected by clicking the button titled "Browse / Browse" at the bottom right and then added to the company folder with the "Upload / Upload" button at the bottom right. Then, this file on the right side should be selected by double-clicking.

  1. Then the general information screen will open and these changes should be saved with the button titled "Save" on the upper right side.

  1. The same process should be repeated for the definitions of Business / Dealer / Department.

Use of the graphical entity tree

  1. After the image addition for these 4 definitions is completed in the map image path, it is entered into the "Graphical Entity Tree" tab where these visuals will be used.
  2. On the screen that opens, we will first see the image uploaded for the relevant company.
  3. At the top right of the screen is a tree of assets listing the Company and its affiliated Businesses, Certificates, and Sections. The image uploaded for each breakdown selected on this area will be displayed.

In order to mark the positions of the assets on the image, while any of the Business-Cashier-Section visuals is open, the box titled "Drawing" is checked in the menu at the bottom right, the relevant asset in the image is clicked once and the relevant asset is selected by double-clicking on the opened assets screen, then the asset marking process is recorded by clicking the "Save" title button at the bottom right of the screen.

  1. Then the "Tracking" box located in the "Mode" menu at the bottom right is checked, and when the image in which the asset is marked opens, the marked asset is indicated by the "Green Dot". Hovering over this mark displays a label with the asset's information.

  1. Clicking on the mark on the asset opens the menu of operations that can be performed on the asset. From this menu; It is possible to create a job request, create a work order, view the work in progress, view the asset history and view the asset image if it is added to the asset.

  1. If there is a child asset of the asset on the asset image that is opened when the Show asset image option is clicked, the child asset on this asset is checked by selecting the "Drawing" box in the "Mode" menu and saved with the "Save" button.

  1. By using filter fields, entities can be colored according to open work order types.
